Here at Frameworks Northwest we pride ourselves in giving your piece the attention and detail it deserves. This is the art of what we do here.
Code of Conduct:
As a private business, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
In recent years toxic, rude, self-entitled behavior by the public has become commonplace in retail, restaurant, and service industries. Anyone entering this private establishment is expected to conduct themselves at all times in a non-combative, respectful manner. Any person with unreasonable requests, demands, or behavior of any type, as determined by the staff regardless of the situation, that may be reasonably viewed as causing a disturbance, or threats of any kind, for any reasons towards a staff member, the business, or other clients will be told to leave, and may not be asked to return.
Custom Framing Projects:
All custom framing project sales are final at the time of purchase. Changes in glazing may be possible within 24 hours of the initial transaction. Changes in mouldings, mats and design must be completed at the time of the finalized design process. These are all custom cut and ordered elements of your project and once ordered, cannot be changed or canceled.
Lead Time on Custom Framing Projects:
While we do our best to have timely turnarounds, we can experience supply-chain issues, and other related custom material delays. This is a busy shop, it is common for us to have 80 - 100 projects each month. Currently we are working on a minimum of a three plus week turnaround on most custom orders. This can easily stretch into four or more depending on current workload, time of the year, and other outside influences. Due to our work planning schedule, we do not provide daily or weekly project updates. Once your project is completed, you will be called, text or emailed to schedule a pickup.
Rush Projects:
All custom, or fitting projects are scheduled at the time of initial order. At this time we cannot put a rush on any orders. Putting another order before some else further delays custom and fitting projects already waiting completion.
Repair and Restoration Work:
By its very nature, art, frame repair and restoration is a time consuming, detailed process. You should plan on a minimum of an additional three to four weeks, or more for any type of repair or restoration work. This is largely dependent upon the nature of the repair, restoration, the number of pieces involved, and current workloads.
Redesign, Custom Mounting and Printing, Oversized and Specialty Projects:
Specialty design, printing and mounting projects may take longer due to the nature of the project itself. This may include the cutting and building of multiple frames, computer and hand design work, printing and mounting services, specialty layout and mat cutting to just name a few. These projects can likely take four, or more weeks to complete.
Redesign of projects already framed by another framer or DIY, means taking the current framing apart, assessing any damaged, outdated or poor prior-installation. This may require assessment of current glazing, damage to mats or moulding, hardware or even art repair, and restoration. This is all before any repair, building, cutting and reframing of the project.
Abandoned Work:
Unless you have made other arrangements with Frameworks; work left in the shop for more than 180 days after we contact you that your project has been completed, may be considered abandoned. If this occurs, abandoned work becomes the property of FWPT, Inc. DBA Frameworks Northwest.
Returns:
All sales, of all types of products and merchandise sold at Frameworks Northwest are final at time of purchase. We do not provide merchandise credit, or transaction returns.
